The AeroPress is a simple coffee brewing device that was invented by engineer Alan Adler from his home garage in 2005. Adler's goal was to make his daily cup of coffee less acidic and harsh. This simple device has since inspired the specialty coffee community which eventually resulted in the World AeroPress Championship! Adler is also famously known for his invention of the original Aerobie Flying Ring!
The AeroPress is a tried, true, and consistent way of making great coffee. It is also light-weight and durable which makes it handy for travelling. It is effectively a large BPA-free plastic syringe with a filter and screen at the end. The brewer makes approximately 250ml (8oz) of coffee per serving.
